DAY TRIP:
(Cusco - Cusipata - Checacupe - Palccoyo Mountain - Cusco):

We will begin our excursion by picking up passengers from their accommodations in Cusco between 4:20 and 4:50 AM. Our first destination will be the picturesque village of Cusipata (3,310 meters above sea level), located 1 hour and 40 minutes away, where you will enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast made with local products. This location also offers convenient restroom facilities so you can prepare for the day ahead.

We will continue towards the ancestral village of Checacupe (3,446 m above sea level), a site enriched with centuries-old bridges that tell stories of past civilizations, true jewels of ancient engineering.

After a 1 hour and 30 minute drive, we will arrive at the Palccoyo Community , where you can observe South American camelids and the daily life of the local people. From here, we will head towards the impressive Palccoyo Mountain (4,900 meters above sea level), also known as the Rainbow Mountain.

We’ll begin a 40-minute hike to the Mirador de las Tres Montañas Multicolores (Viewpoint of the Three Multicolored Mountains ). If you wish, you can ascend to the highest point, at 4,900 meters above sea level, where a stone forest and breathtaking panoramic views await you.

After exploring Palccoyo , we’ll return to Cusipata for a delicious lunch featuring Peruvian specialties, perfect for replenishing our energy. After a well-deserved rest, we’ll return to Cusco , arriving around 5:30 pm. Get ready for a day filled with cultural discoveries, exciting adventures, and breathtaking scenery.
