After our guiding tour we will continue to Maras, on the other hand, is a town famous for its salt mines, which have been in use since pre-Inca times. The salt mines consist of thousands of small terraced pools, where salty water from a nearby spring is channeled into the pools and left to evaporate, leaving behind salt crystals. The salt is then harvested by hand, a process that has been practiced for centuries, then we will continue our way to back to Cusco.
