DAY 1:
Cusco – Cachora – Capuliyoc – Chiquisca – Playa Rosalina – Marampata

We will pick you up from your hotel between at 4:00 AM to start our trip in our private van for about 4 hours to northeast of Cusco to Capuliyoc small village (2.800m./9184ft.) where we will meet with our trip staff (muleteers and horses).

Here we will begin with our hiking for about 10 minutes and will arrive to our first view point where we will have a panoramic view, in front of us we will see the snow Padreyoc mountain and the famous and deep Apurimac Canyon, after having an amazing view we will start our descend for 3 hours through beautiful landscapes where you will be able to see different medicinal plants which were used by our ancestors, If we are lucky we will be able to see the majestic Condor

We descend until Chiquisca (1800m./5904ft.) where we have a delicious Lunch.

After having lunch, we will continue descending 45 minutes more until Playa Rosalina (1700m./5580ft.), located in Apurimac River separated by two important regions we will cross from Apurimac to Cusco, after passing the famous Apurimac river we will hike uphill for about 4 hours until Marampata (2800m./9184ft.), we will arrive to our camp site approximately at 4:30 pm, after a break its time for dinner, overnight.

Early morning approximately at 6:00am. we will have a delicious breakfast, then we start our hiking to Choquequirao aproximately 1 hour and a half, on the easy hike to Choquequirao (3050m/10004ft.) on this part of the hiking we will have an amazing view of the profile of the Archeological Choquequirao Complex and the Incas terraces, along the way our tour guide will explain about the flora and fauna, we´ll have all morning to explore all the Choquequirao archaeological site (cradle of gold)

Where you will visit plazas sector, llamas sector, astronomic sector and other important places, then you will have free time to explore by your selve and conect with the nature (Pachamama), have the lunch.

In the afternoon we will come back to Maranpata (2800m./9184ft.) camping site to relax after the beautiful hike, dinner, overnight.

After an early breakfast we’ll prepare for our journey back, from Marampata camping site you’ll begin the downhill hike after 2 hour hike we will have our first stop in Santa Rosa where we will relax with the view of the valley

Then we will continue our downhill trail to la Playa Rosalina we will cross the bridge and the Apurimac rive, you’ll have a break to enjoy some fresh fruit that was farmed in the area, where cactus fruit is the main attraction

After it’ll be another two hours uphill to reach Chikiska Camping site (1857m. / 6092ft.) where we will have our delicious lunch, free afternoon to relax, dinner, overnight.

After our early breakfast 5:00am. we’ll be ready to return to Cusco, along the way you will be able to appreciate the majestic Apurimac Canyon, considered one of the deepest of the region

It’ll be a four-hour uphill hike until Capuliyoc view point (2.800m./9184ft.). here will be the end of the trek and where you’ll enjoy your last lunch with all hiking team, guide, cook and horsemen also Here our driver will wait for us and will transport to Cusco for about 3 hours and a half.
